OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO HORSE WELFARE FEATURE – HOW TO DONATE

There’s been an overwhelming response to a story we brought you last night on a Hunter Valley charity rescuing horses headed for slaughter.
Within minutes of the story airing, the charity received close to $1000 in donations along with 50 enquiries on how to help.
Today, the offers continued to roll in, including more funds to horse rugs and people offering to volunteer at the property.
If you would like to help, you can donate via paypal info@horsewelfare.com.au or direct deposit to bank account BSB 650000 Acc 989107706 Horse Welfare Inc. Cheques can be posted to 1888 Clarence Town Rd Glen Oak NSW 2320.

Hi,
Unfortunately I didn’t get to see this program, but I am only too aware of what occurs to these magnificent creatures. Thankfully, now the community is becoming more aware. I am guardian to a small herd of 7 horses, 5 of them Thoroughbreds, 4 being ex racehorses.
As a dedicated natural therapies animal practitioner, and a very passionate animal advocate, I take every opportunity to provide a genuine whol-istic service for assisting them to come back into natural health, balance and well being.
As I travel to the Hunter Valley on a regular basis, I would be most happy to donate my services to any animal that may require assistance in their health.
After watching tonight’s 7.30 Report on the ABC on the expose’ of what really happens to unsuccessful race horses, it totally reaffirms that I am here to help these beautiful and spiritual animals.
The more these types of stories come out, the more the public will get to know what really happens in these industries.
It is always about the money, and NOT the well being of the animals that provide the source of the funds!
I may be able to assist with some free agistment if required. Please contact me on 0402 275 026.
