THREE PEOPLE INJURED AFTER CAR AND TRAIN COLLIDE AT DUNGOG

Three people have been injured, after a car and a train collided south of Dungog this afternoon.

Emergency services – five ambulance crews and two choppers – were called shortly after 4.30pm to Dungog Road at Wallarobba.

It’s understood the patients – one man and two women – are all aged 60 and over.

The man was thrown from the car and is now being treated for spinal and pelvic injuries.

One of the women is being assessed for shoulder and abdominal injuries.

A third escaped with minor injuries.
