Youth mental health services in Port Macquarie are about to get a boost, with the announcement today of extra Federal Government funding.
15 new headspace centres will be established across Australia.
The centres help young people, aged 12 to 25, overcome anxiety, depression and other conditions affecting their mental well being.
The new centres will be operational in 2013.
