Hundreds of junior rugby union stars will head to Tamworth this weekend for the annual Tri Colours gala day.

With interest from beyond the region – club president Matt Sedon says the future of the game is in good hands.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
