Police are on the hunt for those responsible for a ram-raid at a petrol station near Taree overnight.
Police say a stolen Subaru- carrying multiple passengers- smashed into the front windows at Old Bar’s Metro Zone Service Station just after 11pm.
The offenders fled from the scene empty handed after a local resident disturbed them.
Police are currently investigating whether the incident is linked to a string of break-ins across the Manning-Great Lakes area over the past four days, including three at Diamond Beach.
