Police are appealing for information after a 130-year-old homestead in Werris Creek was destroyed by fire.
The blaze was noticed on Glen Alpine Drive shortly after midnight by patrolling police at Werris Creek, who alerted the Rural Fire Service.
It took crews several hours to bring the fire under control, while crime scene investigators spent most of today at the site.
No-one was at home at the time of the incident.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
