The newest Woolworths supermarket on the north coast opened its doors this morning in Macksville.
The 4,000 square metre supermarket is located on the corner of Boundary Street and the Pacific Highway where a new set of traffic lights has been installed.
The $4-million building includes a number of innovative energy saving measures including fridge lights which only turn on when a shopper approaches.
The new outlet, which features self-service checkouts, offers 35,000 grocery lines and employs 60 people.
