Tamworth women proved they have charity in the bag, with more than a hundred ladies yesterday descending on Hopscotch Cafe for the ‘It’s in the Bag’ campaign.
More than 300 bags were donated to the “Share the Dignity’ organisation, filled with essentials for women in need.
The bags will handed out around Australia.
Organisers were overwhelmed with the response, and say it will become an annual event.
