WEATHER UPDATE: TIME TO CHILL OUT

After an abnormally warm August a burst of cold air is going to sweep in across the region tonight with icy WSW winds.

The clear blues skies will remain but temperatures will be noticeably colder especially at night and in the morning.

This is good news for the ski resorts which will see the best conditions of the season develop for the weekend. Things will also improve for NSW surfers with a pulse of swell on the way.
