  1. The land should be safe from development. There are major issues regarding flora and fauna and lack of access to the lake front in addition to issues regarding safeguarding the current way of life for local residents.
Road access will be via 1km of narrow lane without road markings, kerbside drainage or pedestrian walkways. This lane (Macleay Drive) follows on from other roads which also have none of the above. These conditions are not acceptable in a modern community, yet the developers (none of whom will ever live in the proposed development) wish to further degrade the lifestyle of existing householders in the area.
Amenities, school places and health care in the area are already in short supply and the occupants of a further 250 houses will only serve to exacerbate the problems.
Additionally, the existence of 250 houses for low income tenants will seriously undermine the quiet lifesyle that existing householders enjoy. It is no accident that social problems exist side by side with low income housing areas and again it is pertinant that the developers are unlikely ever to live in the development, yet they seem to have no compunction by inflicting a degraded lifestyle on current residents.
