Police say the death of a young man, who was hit and killed by a train near Ourimbah station around midday, appears to be a tragic accident,
Paramedics worked on the male – believed to be in his late teens – shortly after, but he died at the scene.
Police scoured the area for any clues into his death.
Witnesses say they saw him trying to cross the tracks.

Why was he walking on the tracks? Yes it is very sad he is gone…His poor family now suffer for a stupid mistake. But what about the poor train driver? He will probably never work again now due to this.

Luke went to my old school I remember passing him in the halls and he would sometimes say a random hello he was a great guy and was taken too early but his in heaven now safe amongest the other angels. My heart goes out to all those who knew and loved Luke, His family and friends R.I.P Luke <3
