DISAPPOINTMENT FOR CORRINE HAMMOND AT THE WORLD CHAMPS

Major disappointment for Corrine Hammond, with the Hunter darts player knocked out of the World Championship in the UK in round one by England’s Fallon Sherrock.
The Australian dropped the first set, but then dominated the second to make it one-all.
“Very good. Excellent darts from Corrine Hammond. She’s come back into this match and how.”
But the 2017 runner-up couldn’t maintain the momentum.
Hammond needed this to stay alive in the third.
“Double 15. No. 24.”
Sherrock made no mistake with her reply, as Hammond bowed out early.
