TAREE TO HOST NEXT BIG JUNIOR TOUCH CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Taree will be over-run with up-and-coming touch talent when the first ever Northern Eagles Junior Touch Championships are held on the 20th and 21st of January.

More than 60 teams from across the state will take to the paddock – both boys and girls ranging from under 10’s to under 18’s.

“Places like Port Macquarie, Taree, Forster, Macksville all have 10 teams in each and they’re covered in every division and some of the other areas are scattered so we’re expecting good numbers,” said Graham Goodwin.

“We have our gala day every year which attracts about 50, 55 teams but this is an actual tournament and were thrilled that northern eagles has chosen us to host it,” said Graham Goodwin.
