The road to Harrington will be much smoother from 2018, with the major upgrade set to be finished in just a few days.
$2.3-million has been spent to improve the safety of the stretch of Harrington Road between Christies Lane and the bridge at Stone’s Oysters, with new pavement and surfacing.
The Federal Government contributed $1-million to the project through its Roads to Recovery programme.
