LOCALS RECOGNISED FOR GYMNASTICS EFFORTS

Tamworth Gymnastics Club’s, Maisie Wilde and Jodie McGinnity, have today been named as nominees for major state awards.

Wilde is a finalist in Gymnastics New South Wales’ Levels Development Athlete of the Year category.

It follows a successful 12 months, where she was state Level Six Division Two champion, and came third overall among Level Seven’s at the Singapore Invitational.

Meanwhile McGinnity has been recognised for her efforts in growing the sport – she’s up for Regional Services and VIP gongs.

The awards ceremony will be held in Sydney, in February.
