FORMER CHAMP INTO FOURTH ROUND

Avoca’s Wade Carmichael has advanced to the Round of 32 at the Hawaiin Pro.

The 25 year-old, who’s on the cusp of qualifying for the World Tour, scored a narrow victory over Lennox Head’s Stu Kennedy.
