BATTLE FOR THE FLOORBALL CUP BEGINS

Three Central Coast woman will represent Australia in Floorball, as the first round of a statewide competition got underway in Woy Woy today.

The sport has been described as hockey without a puck…and it’s growing in popularity across the country thanks to tournaments like the Floorball Cup.

Three star players from the Central Coast team, Amanda Bartrim, Vanessa Dwyer and Rosie Burtenshaw will don the green and gold at the World Championships in Slovakia.

The trio fly out in December, after the state championship wraps up.
