IVORY COASTS TO WIN

Newcastle cyclist Cameron Ivory has taken out the Super Crits at Ourimbah University Campus at the weekend.

The event is held on a two kilometre circuit consisting of 40 minutes plus two laps, and attracted a quality field of more than 100 riders from Sydney, The Hunter and Central Coast.

Ivory, who was a 2014 Commonwealth Games representative, has been in outstanding form – finishing second in the recent State Criterium Championships.

The 24 year old made a decisive move early along with Clinton Edwards, Daniel Paine and Terrigal’s Nick Kirwan.

The breakaway group beat the chase pack home by over a minute.
