WOMAN TRAMPLED BY HORSE AT TAREE RACE COURSE

A woman was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after she was trampled by a horse at the Taree race course this morning.

Paramedics treated the 32 year old at the scene for serious head, chest and facial injuries.

She was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.
