A 25-year-old woman has been charged with reckless wounding after allegedly smashing a schooner glass into the face of another woman last night.
Police were called to a Gordon Street address in Hamilton just after 8 o’clock, after the women got into a fight.
The 28-year-old victim from Stockton sustained cuts to her face and was treated in John Hunter Hospital.
She was released this morning, while the alleged perpetrator will face Newcastle Local Court on the 18th of January.
