DOMESTIC ATTACK CHARGES EXPECTED TO BE UPGRADED TO MURDER

A 35-year-old Central Coast woman has succumbed to injuries sustained in a domestic violence attack earlier this week.

Blair Dalton passed away in Gosford Hospital yesterday evening, two days after police found her severely injured at a home in Picnic Parade, Ettalong Beach.

Police performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took the woman to Gosford Hospital in a critical condition.

Her former partner, 34-year-old Lance Pearce, was arrested and was later charged with attempt to strangle/suffocate with intent to murder.

He’s due to appear at Gosford Local Court in November, and charges against him are expected to be upgraded to murder.
