The upgrade of Tamworth’s Scully Park is nearing completion.
The last of the new playing surface was put down today.
While ground staff wait for the turf to knit together, work will begin on sculpting the Eastern Hill.
The park is expected to host its first group four rugby league match in May.
Once the facility has been tested by local talent, Wests Entertainment Group will begin applying for NRL, A-League and Super Rugby games.
