WEATHER: A REAL SOUTHERLY CHANGE

There’s no shortage of cloud cover across the country.

We’re enjoying a lovely cooling down across most of the nation, with more rain to come overnight before clearing for the weekend.

As the change moves through, more showers and storms will fire up across the region tonight, clearing tomorrow.

Cooler temperatures are now on the way for all as the southerly settles in.

A big dangerous swell will hit the Central, Newcastle and Mid North Coasts.

  1. A question for Gav.
why don’t we get the true southerly busters accompanied by storms and rain that I remember getting a lot after hot days anymore? We only seem to get a mild southerly change these days. I miss the doors slamming shut when the southerly hit and you new you were going to be able to enjoy some lovely cool weather and probably rain for the garden.
