Armidale’s Jan Kirk teamed up with the Longyard’s Maryanne Macklinshaw to take out the Tamworth Golf Club’s Ladies Open Fourball Versus Par event yesterday.
Part of a field of 104 players, which included 71 from the host course, the pair won the scratch event with a par score across the 18 holes.
But it was the Tamworth Club’s Kay Swadling and Jan Hicks who won the Nett section, with their handicap score of plus nine enough to take home the silverware.
