Hunter rider Toby Price has taken to social media to update fans on his condition, after he crashed out of the Dakar Rally.
The defending champion has a fractured femur, which is broken in four places.
Having spent three days in hospital, Price is hoping to try walking in the next 24 hours…and begin planning his return to Australia for rehabilitation.
