Disappointment today for the family and friends of murdered Gold Coast detective Damian Leeding.
His killers were due to be sentenced in Brisbane, but their lawyers were granted more time to prepare.
Through his lawyer, the shooter Phillip Graeme Abell apologised to the judge for making a rude gesture after Monday’s guilty verdicts.
He’ll now learn his fate on October eight, while Donna Lee McAvoy’s next appearance is yet to be decided.
