A man will face court today after he allegedly assaulted another man and held him against his will on the Gold Coast.
Around 9.30am yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of an injured man at a George Street unit in Southport.
Police allege the 26-year-old had been assaulted and held against his will in a nearby business.
A 24-year-old Parkwood man has since been charged with deprivation of liberty, torture, armed robbery and assault occasioning bodily harm.
