This is great news for Lake Macquarie! I am totally for the re opening. As a pilot aspiring to move back to the east coast in the near future I look forward to flying in and out of Belmont airport for recreation. A flying school would be great in this area and if Matt Hall operates out of here what a fantastic airport this would become once again.
A relatively small amount of money is needed to get it going again. The state and federal governments, the council and owners together should all chip in and get it off the ground as soon as possible.
