Alex McKinnon has reportedly hired a legal team as he weighs up whether to seek compensation over a tackle, which left him with a spinal injury.
The 23-year-old former Knights player broke his neck last March against the Melbourne Storm, prematurely ending his rugby league career.
Prop Jordan McLean was suspended for seven weeks.
It’s believed McKinnon is weighing up advice on whether to sue the NRL and the Storm for the tackle, though it’s understood he’s reluctant to follow through.
