LONG LUNCH ATTRACTS 240 FOODIES

A different sort of picnic was held in Tamworth’s

Bicentennial park today, where 240 foodies gathered for the Taste Festival’s annual long lunch.

Locals and visitors were treated to a five-course feast accompanied by local beverages.

‘It’s all local produce, down to the milk in the cappucinos and the wine and the beer, it’s all local produce so we’re very proud of that.”

For entree, a platter of salami and pate’ was served, followed by a milly hill rack of lamb for the main.

And with local entertainment, the party went well into the afternoon.
