MATT SEYMOUR CROWNED 2016 CATHO CLASSIC OPEN MEN’S CHAMPION

Lake Munmorah’s Matt Seymour has claimed a narrow victory in the open men’s final at this year’s Catho Classic.
Seven time winner Justin Lee warmed up for the decider with a win in the Over 30 division, but he ran out of luck in the main event.
Reece Menzies from Marks Point was one of the top contenders, finding several workable rides in the onshore conditions.
But he couldn’t catch Seymour, falling just point zero five behind the 2016 champion.
Vincent Scanes from Lake Munmorah edged his way into third, while Nords Wharf’s Danielle Hancock took out the women’s title.
