Young cricketers, from as far as the Gold Coast and Sydney, have hit pitches across Lismore for the 32nd annual junior carnival.
Under clear skies, players spent the day honing skills across several matches.
Organisers hope the carnival could be the launching pad for the country’s next top cricketer, with test stars David Warner, Josh Hazlewood and Usman Khawaja previously taking part.
