Council’s refusing to budge on its solution to the public urination problem in Surfers Paradise.
Despite heavy criticism from businesses and passers-by, Council’s claiming its public urinals are the best way to curb the problem over the Christmas period.
Council has fenced them off and pushed back their time of use from eight pm until midnight…they’ll still close every morning at four o’clock.
But some people say they have the solution.
Council will take a look at all the feedback its received on the urinals mid next week…but if people are using them, they’ll remain in place into next year.
