WESTON MOVE TO THIRD WITH A WIN OVER THE BLUES

To the Hunter’s NPL competition, and South Cardiff caused a big upset today, beating Broadmeadow 3-1.
Hamilton belted the Jets Youth, and Weston celebrated Jason Cowburn’s 100th game in style.
Charlestown City started four spots lower than Weston on the ladder, but the Blues created the best early chances.
Scott Smith was denied by Tim Pratt, before the visitors tried an audacious long range shot.
But it was the home town Bears who grabbed the winner through Liam Thornton… as Weston moved to third on the NPL ladder.
