The youth radio station in Coffs Harbour has received special recognition.
State MP Andrew Fraser today presented C.H.Y – FM with a prestigious Premier’s Award for its outstanding contribution to the local community.
“We’ve done so much to help the community over the last 40 years in training young people and assisting young musicians to achieve their dreams so this is lovely,” said station manager Becky Cole.
Operated by volunteers, the community station is funded by sponsorship from local businesses.
