Inverell residents will now have better access to a number of government agencies, with the town’s Service New South Wales centre officially open.
The Byron Street office is the second centre of its kind on the Northern Tablelands, and will enable residents to complete more than 960 different transactions in one location.
“We can do business transactions for fair trade, we can do births, deaths and marriages, obviously do roads and maritime.”
Moree has been earmarked as the next location in line for a Service New South Wales centre, in the region.
