A man will appear in court following an alleged pursuit in Armidale this morning.
Police attempted to stop a Ford Falcon travelling on the New England Highway at about 2:00am.
After a brief pursuit the driver stopped the car at the Corner of Gordon Street.
The 25-year-old man is facing 16 charges, including driver manner dangerous, assaulting police as well as license and registration offences.
The two police officers suffered minor injuries during the incident.
