DUMPED LIBERALS CANDIDATE BREAKS SILENCE

Kevin Baker has spoken to NBN News about being dramatically disendorsed by the Liberal party less than a month out from Saturday’s election.

The candidate for Charlton was dumped by the party after it emerged a website he ran contained racist and sexist comments.

Despite his disendorsement he still secured about 40 percent of the votes on a two candidate preferred basis.

Mr Baker says he won’t walk away from the party or politics and claims a lot of the accusations levelled against him have been grossly overstated.
