A new $2.5 million youth centre has opened its doors in Coledale today.
Designed to attract people aged 25 or younger, the council-run centre will act as a retreat and eventually offer educational programs.
It’s also been decked out with the latest technology so it can host music and dance performances.
“There was extensive work done over a number of years to in engaging with the community to identify community needs, particularly with the local Coledale community, and that identified the need for a youth centre.”
The official opening will be held in April.
