But it’s hoped a colourful mural on the Telstra Exchange building at Currumbin, will prevent more graffiti attacks.
Griffith University fine arts students spent this week painting dozens of lorikeets.
“I’m not a fan of graffiti myself. It seems to be ego driven and there’s no message behind it.”
“Personally, they want a wall like this – all they have to do is contact their local council.”
Telstra funded the project.
