A second woman has died and an 80-year-old man remains in a critical condition
following last week’s head-on crash on the Pacific Highway at Warrell Creek near Macksville.
A 78-year-old Tuncurry woman died last Wednesday when the car she was in crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with another vehicle.
Another passenger in the car, a 77-year-old woman, also from Tuncurry, was airlifted to Coffs Harbour and then to Sydney where she later died.
A 42-year Macksville woman who was driving the second car received only minor injuries in the crash.
