Police are still looking for a teenager who they believe stabbed a tourist in the neck at Byron Bay on the weekend.
Detectives say a 20 year old man was walking past Railway Park when he saw a man being assaulted.
He attempted to intervene but was attacked.
He’s since been released from hospital.
