BUDERUS HEADING HOME FOR FAREWELL SEASON WITH NEWCASTLE

It’s official, Danny Buderus will be back in the red and blue of Newcastle next season, after the Leeds Rhinos agreed to release the former Test and New South Wales hooker from the final year of his contract.
The Knights today confirmed they’ll pay a transfer fee to the Super League club in order to bring Buderus home.
Early this morning, the Rhinos qualified for the Grand Final at Old Trafford, providing Buderus with a shot at a dream farewell.
CEO Matt Gidley says the deal to bring Buderus home took longer than the club had hoped, but in the end the Knights got their man.
