A camera has captured the moment a hang glider and paraglider collided mid-air, above Beechmont over the weekend.
Hundreds of metres off the ground, the female paraglider turns into the path of the male hang-glider pilot..
Tangled, they both plunge toward the earth, before one pulls an emergency chute at the last moment.
Emergency crews then pulled off a tricky rescue… The pair was stuck in heavy scrub, 100-metre down a vertical cliff face.
Remarkably, they walked away unhurt.
