A 19-year-old man has sustained serious lower leg fractures after a single vehicle accident on the Kamilaroi Highway near Gunnedah this morning.
Just before 7am, police believe the vehicle left the road and rolled into a tree, breaking it and causing it to land on the car.
He was airlifted to Tamworth hospital.
