Bushfires on the Northern Rivers are now under control after having scorched more than 400 hectares of land.
A fire at Kippenduff in the Richmond Valley has burnt over 300 hectares, while a hazard reduction burn near Kyogle destroyed 77 hectares.
A high fire danger warning remains in place.
