A provisional licence holder, whose licence is suspended until 2016, was caught travelling at more than 140-kilometres per hour overnight.
Police say the 33-year-old man was driving a vehicle detected speeding along the New England Highway at Gowrie shortly after 10.
He was charged with driving while disqualified, and exceeding the speed limit by more than 30-kilometres per hour.
