St George’s Bank has been forced to block a number of customer’s bank cards, after fear’s of an ATM card skimming scam in Byron Bay.
A spokesperson for the bank says anyone who used the machine during that time has been contacted and reissued new cards.
The machine has been checked and is now safe to use.
