22 community organisations from across the Hastings have received a share in almost $100,000 in funding grants from council.
Port Macquarie’s Sail-ability received over $9000 to buy a new dinghy, while St Joseph’s Family Services received $2,200 for Aboriginal Cultural Awareness training.
Alzheimer’s Australia was given almost $10,000 to establish a Dementia Resource Centre.
More than 50 applications were submitted to Council for the grants.
