40 years after she was last seen, Roxlyn Bowie is again the focus of a major police search.
The mother-of-two disappeared from the remote community of Walgett in June 1982, with a forensic search and excavation at two locations in the town set to get underway today.
A coronial inquest in 2014 found Bowie – aged 31 at the time – had died, however her body has never been located.
